The Dyness Tower S3 3.55kWh Battery Module is a high-voltage LiFePO4 battery module designed for use within the Dyness Tower S3 energy storage system. Built for residential, large residential and small commercial applications, the Tower S3 range offers a modular platform that can be scaled to suit different storage requirements, starting from 7.10kWh in a two-module tower and expanding up to larger multi-module and multi-tower systems.
Each Tower S3 module contributes 3.55kWh of nominal battery capacity, allowing installers to build systems in practical increments while maintaining a neat, stackable design. The Tower S3 platform supports flexible expansion, with up to 12 towers able to be connected in parallel for larger storage projects. This makes it suitable for installations where future capacity upgrades may be required.
The battery chemistry is lithium iron phosphate, commonly referred to as LiFePO4, providing a stable and long-life storage solution for modern solar and battery systems. The system has a recommended depth of discharge of 95% and a cycle life of at least 6000 cycles under the stated test conditions, helping to support reliable long-term operation.
Designed with installer convenience in mind, the Tower S3 system features a plug-and-play approach with no internal wiring between stacked battery modules, helping to simplify installation. Its IP54 protection rating allows for indoor and outdoor installation, provided the system is installed in line with the manufacturer’s guidance and local regulations.
Communication is handled via CAN/RS485, and the system supports smart management functions including real-time monitoring, remote control and OTA updates.
