Simple fastening system
What's special about the design of these units is that the "connection" compartment is separate from the "power" compartment, and are installed separately. The connection area and cables are first mounted on the wall, and then the power compartment is installed. This revolutionary mounting system makes for easy installation and maintenance. The inverter is simply placed in the wall bracket and secured. There's no need to remove the entire inverter for maintenance, just the power stage. All cables, settings and configurations remain in place.
 

Integrated Wifi interface

A simple, easy-to-use monitoring system. With the Fronius Data manager, Fronius is the first inverter manufacturer to offer a Wifi interface integrated into the inverter itself. The inverter is wirelessly connected to the Internet, providing a perfect overview of the photovoltaic system's operation.

 

Open protocol data transmission

It's easy to connect third-party components to Fronius inverters. The open standard SunSpec Modbus TCP protocol is a simple way of establishing a data connection to other systems. The protocol is used via the existing Ethernet interface, guaranteeing reliable communication.

 

Smart Grid Ready

Fronius inverters are ready for tomorrow's Smart Grid. The inverters are optimally equipped to meet future technical requirements. A series of intelligent functions, known as "Advanced Grid Features", are integrated into the devices. These include a number of control functions for optimum injection of reactive and active power. These functions are designed to ensure a stable grid even at very high PV system densities, and prevent unwanted outages with associated yield losses. Fronius inverters therefore help to guarantee the efficiency of PV systems.
