The LONGi Hi-MO X10 Explorer LR7-72HVH-635M is a high-power 635W solar PV module designed for the distribution market, giving installers a bankable, high-efficiency option for commercial rooftops and ground-mount projects. With 23.5% module efficiency, it delivers more kWp per square metre, helping you achieve target system sizes with fewer modules and simpler layouts. 

 

The module uses 144 back-contact (BC) cells in a 6×24 layout, based on LONGi’s TaiRay wafer platform. This back-contact architecture removes front busbar shading and supports lower operating temperatures, contributing to higher real-world yield compared with conventional mono PERC designs. For your customers, that means stronger generation from the same footprint and improved long-term returns. 

 

Mechanically, the LR7-72HVH-635M is built for demanding sites. It measures 2382 × 1134 × 30 mm and weighs 28.5 kg, with a single 3.2 mm coated tempered glass front and anodised aluminium frame. The module is rated for 5400 Pa front and 2400 Pa rear static loading, and has passed hail testing with 25 mm hailstones at 23 m/s, making it suitable for exposed, high-wind and snow-prone locations. 

 

From a system design perspective, the module supports DC 1500 V systems with a 25 A maximum series fuse rating, giving you flexibility to design longer strings with modern C&I inverters. At STC, the LR7-72HVH-635M delivers Pmax 635 W, Voc 53.60 V, Isc 15.05 A, with Vmp 44.26 V and Imp 14.35 A – a combination that suits high-power string designs while keeping currents manageable.

 

Temperature performance is another advantage. With a Pmax temperature coefficient of -0.26%/°C and NOCT of 45±2°C, the module maintains output more effectively on hot days, improving daytime yield versus lower-spec modules – particularly relevant on dark roof surfaces and high-irradiance commercial sites. 

 

For long-term reliability, LONGi backs the Hi-MO X10 Explorer range with a 15-year product warranty on materials and processing and a 30-year linear power warranty. First-year degradation is kept below 1%, followed by only 0.35% per year from years 2–30, preserving a high percentage of nameplate power over the module’s life and supporting strong performance guarantees in your proposals.
