The Solis S6-GC125K 125kW 3-phase inverter is engineered for installers delivering high-yield rooftop and ground-mount PV systems where uptime, design flexibility, and straightforward integration matter. With a 1100V max DC input and a wide MPPT range of 160–1000V, it supports modern string designs and helps optimise energy harvest across variable roof aspects and string lengths.
A key advantage for commercial PV is its multi-MPPT architecture: the S6-GC125K platform supports up to 10 MPPTs (model dependent) and up to 20 strings, alongside high input current capability (42A/36A per MPPT)—ideal when working with today’s higher-current modules and mixed string configurations. This allows you to reduce compromise in array layout, improving performance while keeping designs neat and scalable.
Efficiency is also a strong point, with up to 98.7% max efficiency and 98.3% EU efficiency, helping maximise project returns and strengthen yield predictions for customers. For monitoring and commissioning, the inverter includes features such as string monitoring, I/V curve scanning, and an optional integrated meteorological solution with system inefficiency warning, supporting faster diagnostics and proactive maintenance.
Safety and grid performance are designed in. The datasheet specifies comprehensive electrical protections (reverse-polarity, short-circuit, over-current, insulation monitoring, residual current detection, surge protection Type II DC/AC, anti-islanding, and temperature protection). AFCI (arc fault protection) is included (activation/option notes apply), and there’s optional cooperation with Rapid Shutdown (RSD) for enhanced fire-safety strategies.
For export limiting and site control, Solis offers a master-slave export power control solution supporting up to 10 units in parallel, plus optional advanced functions such as three-phase unbalanced output control. Integration is straightforward with dual independent RS485 ports and optional comms (WiFi/GPRS/PLC). With IP66 protection, intelligent fan cooling, <2W night self-consumption, and an operating range of -30°C to +60°C, it’s well suited to demanding outdoor commercial environments.
