Trinasolar 455W Vertex S+ Dual Glass N-type i-TOPCon Solar Module – Full Black
SKU: TSM-455NEG9R.25
The Trinasolar 455W Vertex S+ Dual Glass N-type i-TOPCon Solar Module – Full Black (TSM-455NEG9R.25) is a high-end rooftop module for installers who want maximum yield, long lifetimes and a clean, premium look on residential and commercial projects.
Using N-type i-TOPCon cell technology and high-density interconnection, the module delivers up to 455 W output with 22.8% module efficiency, letting you get more kWp from tight roof spaces and reduce balance-of-system cost per watt. At STC, the 455 W variant offers around 45.0 V Vmpp, 10.11 A Impp, 53.4 V Voc and 10.77 A Isc, giving you a very installer-friendly voltage/current profile for modern 1500 V string designs.
The dual-glass construction (1.6 mm front + 1.6 mm back) with a black anodised 30 mm frame and full-black cell/layout gives excellent mechanical robustness and aesthetics. It supports test loads of 5,400 Pa snow and 4,000 Pa wind, making it suitable for exposed or high-snow locations, while the glass–glass build improves resistance to micro-cracking, moisture ingress and long-term UV exposure.
Thermal performance is another strength: with a Pmax temperature coefficient of around –0.29 %/°C and NOCT of 43 °C, the module holds onto its power better in hot conditions than conventional P-type designs, supporting higher real-world yield across the year.
Physically, the module keeps to the familiar Vertex S+ footprint at approx. 1762 × 1134 × 30 mm and 21.0 kg, with 144 half-cut mono cells, IP68 junction box and MC4/TS4-compatible connectors. That makes it straightforward to integrate with common mounting systems, optimisers and inverters on the UK and EU markets.
For long-term bankability, Trina backs the Vertex S+ NEG9R.25 series with an extended 25-year product workmanship warranty and 30-year performance warranty, limiting degradation to 1% in year one and 0.4% per year from year 2–30, with at least 87.4% power output still guaranteed at year 30. This gives installers a strong story on lifetime energy yield and total cost of ownership when presenting proposals to end customers.
