Trinasolar 465W Vertex S+ Shield Duel Glass N-Type i-TOPCon Solar Module - Black Frame/White Backsheet
SKU: TSM-465NED9R.28
The Trinasolar 465W Vertex S+ Shield Dual Glass N-Type i-TOPCon Solar Module – Black Frame / White Backsheet (TSM-465NED9R.28) is a high-spec rooftop module built for demanding residential and commercial installs where high power, robustness and safety are non-negotiable. Delivering 465 W output with around 23.3% module efficiency, it lets you push more kWp onto tight roofs and improve BOS cost per watt compared with lower-power modules.
Based on N-type i-TOPCon monocrystalline cells and high-density interconnection, the Shield series offers strong low-irradiance and high-temperature performance, with a Pmax temperature coefficient of around -0.29 %/°C to help preserve yield on hot days. The dual-glass construction (2.5 mm front / 2.0 mm back) with a black 30 mm aluminium frame and white “Shield” rear delivers excellent mechanical strength: standard test loads of +7,000 Pa snow and –5,000 Pa wind, and special load ratings up to +8,000 / –6,000 Pa, plus VKF HW4 hail resistance and Class A+A fire rating – ideal for harsh climates, exposed roofs and high-risk locations.
Electrically, the 465 W variant runs at approx. 45.7 V Vmpp and 10.16 A Impp, with 54.2 V Voc and 10.85 A Isc, making it easy to design 1500 V DC strings that stay within common inverter input limits. The module uses 144 half-cut cells, an IP68 junction box, 4.0 mm² cables and TS4 / MC4 EVO2-type connectors, so it integrates cleanly with mainstream inverters, optimisers and mounting systems. Mechanical dimensions are a familiar 1762 × 1134 × 30 mm with a weight of about 27 kg, so handling and racking layouts are similar to other Vertex S+ modules already on the market.
For lifetime performance, the Vertex S+ Shield range comes with an extended 25-year product workmanship warranty and 30-year power warranty, with just 1% first-year degradation and 0.4% annual degradation from years 2–30, guaranteeing at least 87.4% output at year 30. That gives installers a strong story on long-term energy yield, durability and total cost of ownership when specifying this module for premium rooftop systems.
