Single-phase energy controller for grid-connected solar PV systems with backup operation support. The 4.0 SP model in the SigenStor EC range provides PV input management, battery integration capability and IP66 protection for residential and rooftop installations.
Nominal output power of 4000 W with 4400 VA maximum apparent power for single-phase system operation.
Provides 4 MPP trackers with one PV string per MPPT, supporting flexible PV array design.
Supports up to 8000 W PV input, 600 V maximum DC input voltage and 50 to 550 V MPPT range.
Includes on-grid and backup output capability, with 0 ms disruption time of backup switch stated in the source.
IP66-rated enclosure for protection against dust and water ingress.
Sigenergy SigenStor EC 4.0 SP single-phase energy controller. Nominal output power 4000 W, maximum apparent power 4400 VA, output current 18.2 A nominal and 20.0 A maximum. PV input ratings include 8000 W maximum PV power, 600 V maximum DC input voltage, 350 V nominal DC input voltage, 100 V start-up voltage, 50 to 550 V MPPT range, 4 MPP trackers, 16 A maximum input current per MPPT and 20 A maximum short-circuit current per MPPT. Max output power for 10 seconds is 6000 W. IP66 protection, natural convection cooling, operating temperature -30 to 60 °C, storage temperature -40 to 70 °C, and maximum operating altitude 4000 m.
Single-phase product line. To achieve load-side disruption time functionality, Sigen Energy Gateway must be used with Sigen Energy Controller and Sigen Battery. Source notes state the disruption time depends on this system configuration.
Maximum efficiency for the 4.0 SP model is 98.0%. European efficiency is 97.2%. THDi and THDv are both stated as less than 2%.
