Single-phase SigenStor EC energy controller for grid-tied solar PV systems, with on-grid and backup power output capability. The 8.0 SP variant combines PV control, multiple MPPT inputs and IP66 protection for residential and rooftop installations.
Nominal AC output power of 8000 W with 220 / 230 / 240 V single-phase output.
Supports up to 4 MPP trackers with 1 PV string per MPPT for array design flexibility.
Provides backup AC output with 12,000 W peak output for 10 seconds and 0 ms load-side disruption time under stated test conditions.

For the stated 0 ms backup switch disruption time, the Sigen Energy Gateway must be used together with the Sigen Energy Controller and Sigen Battery. The load-side disruption time is stated under specific test conditions. Supported battery module models are SigenStor BAT 5.0 and BAT 8.0, with 1 to 6 modules per controller.
Maximum efficiency is 97.6% and European efficiency is 97.0% for the 8.0 SP variant. Power factor range is 0.8 leading to 0.8 lagging, with THDi below 2%.
