PV voltage must exceed battery voltage by 5V for start-up, then remain at least 1V above battery voltage during operation. A higher PV short-circuit current than the stated limit may damage the controller. 36V battery selection requires a software tool. Full rated output is available up to 40°C.
Maximum efficiency exceeds 98%. The MPPT algorithm is stated to improve energy harvest by up to 30% versus PWM charge controllers and by up to 10% versus slower MPPT controllers.
