PV voltage must exceed Vbat + 5V for start-up, then remain above Vbat + 1V. Some loads, especially inverters, may be connected directly to the battery; inverter remote control may be connected to the load output. A special interface cable may be required. VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle is needed to enable Bluetooth.
Peak efficiency is 98%. Ultra-fast MPPT is stated to improve energy harvest by up to 30% versus PWM charge controllers and by up to 10% versus slower MPPT controllers.
